As regards the loan, I was going to pay a monthly sum until the house sold then pay off the rest when the house sold. Trouble now is, I have lowlife squatters in there and can't afford the process of going to court which is costly and lengthy. I am now having to rent a place as I can't get into my own house so I have no choice than to let it go. I have also had my credit destroyed by my ex who ran up my cards etc without my knowledge and this only came to light long after we split but she hid them for so long that they went to default. I figure that's enough and I must let everything go to the wall. Thanks everyone for your advice.0

PS if you speak to them do it in a non-threatening but safe way, not on your own, and obviously not at if they are dangerous
EDIT I thought squatting was now a criminal offence and they would get removed?0
