TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

The terms and conditions for this competition have been deposited with Athens-based notary public Haralambos Fotopoulos, 47 Solonos St., GR-10672, tel. 210 3617704, and Deed No 326/6.2.2014 has been drafted regarding the deposit of the Terms and Conditions of Participation in the Competition.

1) Scope of the Competition – Organisation The company with the corporate name AEGEAN AIRLINES S.A., whose registered offices are at 31 Viltanioti St., Kifissia, Attica, is organising an “#Aegean Valentines” competition / promotion (hereinafter the Organiser and the Competition) which will start on Thursday, 6 February 2014 at 14:00 hours and will end on Wednesday, 12 February 2014 at 13:00 hours. The prize is a total of 20 airline tickets for 10 lucky winners. The 10 lucky winners will be chosen by draw, and each will win 2 Aegean airline tickets. The Competition web tools and its general monitoring shall be overseen by ATCOM INTERNET & MULTIMEDIA S.A., whose registered offices are in Acharnes, Attica, at 95 Aristotelous St. (ATCOM).

The Organiser hereby invites users of its official page on the Twitter social network, “https://twitter.com/aegeanairlines” (Aegean), to participate in the Competition using the twitter profile they have created there. Users are invited to mention another twitter user, and to include the Aegean destination they would like to visit with him/her and to add the competition’s hashtag (#AegeanValentines). They must also provide their email address in order to complete their participation.

The Organiser assumes no obligation to secure or facilitate access to Internet sites or to provide the relevant facilities to any interested party with respect to their participation in the Competition. Access to the Competition website is only permitted under the operating terms and conditions for the relevant server and the technical and other conditions and specifications for the Competition. The Organiser hereby considers that each participant is the subject of, and has exclusive control over, the personal data he/she provided. The Organiser shall not be liable for any amount charged to the participants/users due to the aforementioned grounds.

2) Eligibility
Anyone over the age of 18 may participate in the promotion/competition.

Individuals falling into the following categories are excluded from the Competition:
(a) anyone under the age of 18,
(b) anyone who has not agreed to these terms and conditions of use,
(c) the employees of the Organiser,
(d) the employees of ATCOM,
(e)the employees of the Organiser’s affiliates and ATCOM affiliates, and
(f)first- and second-degree relatives of the employees referred to in paragraphs (c), (d) and (e) above and the spouses of said employees. In such cases, the aforementioned companies shall not be liable to anybody due to inappropriate use of this service. The Organiser reserves the right (but is not required) to exclude from the Competition, at any stage of the competition, persons who, in its view, may have used (or attempted to use) unlawful means regarding their participation or who breach a term of this article. Unlawful means shall mean, inter alia, cooperation with other persons, use of devices, arrays, computers and/or software to facilitate automated or multiple participations without human intervention, etc.

In all events, the Organiser may exclude any underage user/visitor/participant from the Competition using any lawful means. It is hereby specified that participation in the Competition does not require purchase of any product and that no fee is to be paid by the participants. Participation in this promotion is conditional upon access of the participants to the Internet using their own technical means. It shall be voluntary and requires prior agreement of the participants with the terms of the Competition.

3) Prizes – Draw
The Competition prizes are 20 Aegean airline tickets for 10 lucky winners. The prize does not cover any other types of transport, accommodation or other expenses. Any participant can be declared a winner only once and receive his/her prize only once. After the Competition ends at 13:00 hours on Wednesday 12 February 2014, the winners will be drawn from all competitors at 16:00 hours.

The Organiser reserves the right to announce the names of the winners through Social Media, SMS, publication in magazines, newspapers, on the Internet and at the company’s offices. By participating in the Competition, participants are presumed to have granted their consent to such disclosure of their names.

To avoid all doubt, no participant shall be considered, or may claim to be, a final winner, in accordance with these terms, unless delivery of the prize (tickets) to him/her has been completed in accordance with the terms contained herein. Any publication of the result of a draw or of the name of an alleged winner on the Competition webpage does not make the result final nor does it establish any claim for any such person.

• Airline ticket - prize terms and conditions
• The airline tickets are return, economy class tickets and relate exclusively to the network provided by the Organiser on a point-to-point basis or with a stop-over. Some destinations are seasonal and do not operate the whole year.
•Tickets are offered with a Space Confirmed right and may not be issued Open. If changes are made after the ticket is issued, there will be a € 20 reissue fee. Under no circumstances can the route or class of the ticket be modified.
• Airport taxes and fees (as in force at the specific period) are included in the offer and are not payable by the winner and his/her companion.
• The airline tickets must be used on the same flight, on the same date at the same time by the winner and the companion of his choosing.
• The trip must take place by 12.2.2015. The following periods are excluded: 28.2.2014-4.3.2014, 21.3.2014-26.3.2014, 16.4.2014-23.4.2014, 30.4.2014-4.5.2014, 6.6.2014-9.6.2014, 1.8.2014-31.8.2014, 24.10.2014-28.10.2014, and 21.12.2014-8.1.2015.
• Ticket reservation and issue are subject to the restrictions on seat availability on the desired travel dates.
• Airline tickets will only be booked and issued after the winner contacts the company’s ticket issuing office at the email address servicingoffice@aegeanair.com or by calling 210-6261709.
• It is expressly agreed that the prize tickets cannot be sold, or exchanged with money. The airline tickets only pertain to flights operated by AEGEAN AIRLINES and it is not possible to change the airline.
• Any ticket not used for any reason will be cancelled and the winner may not claim any other prize or any compensation or remuneration.
• The Airline’s liability is limited in accordance with the applicable Greek and International legislation.

4) Date of start/end of competition/promotion – Duration
The Competition / Promotion will start at 14:00 hours on Thursday, 6 February 2014 and will end at 13:00 hours on Wednesday, 12 February 2014. The Competition computers (including any automated subsystems – count-down web tools made available to the Organiser by ATCOM) shall be the official timer of the Competition determining the Start Time, the End Time as well as the time of active sending of an entry or apparent receipt by the application of a Competition entry. It is hereby expressly stated that, after the end date of the aforesaid Competition/promotion, as announced in the terms and conditions of use of the Organiser’s page and as posted on Aegean’s Twitter feed (tweet) during the Competition closing procedure, no entry will be accepted by, or be binding upon, the Organiser in relation to whether the entry was submitted in good time or not.

5) Change of Terms and conditions of use
The Organiser reserves the right to amend these terms at its discretion, informing visitors/users about any amendments and changes through the Competition/promotion webpage at https://twitter.com/aegeanairlines.
