    Also most cruises are full board or all inclusive. But for an extra cost per head (Thomsons are about £15 per head ) for 1 evening you can book the Posh restaurant for the actual evening of her birthday and have a cosy table for 2 for her and your dad.
    If they are not all inclusive you could upgrade them (although costly for the drinks package).
    If you are doing the choclates and strawberry thing it is best to book that at least 10 days before the trip.
