Facebook Competition Apps

Hi just wondering if anyone could help, when entering facebook competition apps and you get the four options to allow the app access to:- Public, friends of friends, friends, only me.......if you choose the "only me" option will this hinder your chances of winning?

I wondered the same thing. I used to do this but then had doubts.

Do you mean when the app asks if you want them to post on your behalf?

Yes I always put "only me" and that's why I was wondering if I was wasting my time entering them.

I think there's something in FB's rules that say they can't say you have to share to enter a comp.

If the share button is at the end of the comp, usually you'll have entered the comp already, and the share is just for the company's publicity purposes.

Read the Ts and Cs for each comp, but if there is a need to share included, it will usually say "share publicly" ie not just for you.
