Anyone done a straight transfer with H.E?

LMac, the only thing that comes to mind is that allocation is usually done on a points basis and therefore if a house is coming free there may be others that will be much higher on the list. Hopefully they will see it as an easy job just to swap a couple of people around and just do it. Let us know how you get on since it is an interesting question for future reference.

Yes i have done it twice before, with no problems.
You will out the form, they might come look around check everything is ok, ie not damaged.
Then usually takes 2 weeks after that visit to have the ok.
I don't think the points come into it when it is a straight transfer as long as both parties are happy.

Found out where the place is and decided to stay where I am - went past it at 5pm and there was a erm 'gathering' of 14 year olds drinking and smoking on the corner 2 houses up... Thanks for replies tho!0
