So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.0 -

Thanks for this Just ordered the case of 12 let’s get fizzy
And worked out how to get another fiver off the deal to get 12 mixed bottles of cava and proseco down to £39.99
Add the case to your basket before registering and you get the discount of free delivery saving £4.99:cool:
Then apply the £60 new customer discount result 12 bottles£39.99 = £3.33 a bottle for prosecco
Although it's probably a good thing I've spent a small fortune on wine this week already:o0 -

We must have about £75 worth of 50p's in this house and not one is a Kew one
But the ironside one is going on amazon for £8

In fact, if you get one with "new pence" it's worth loads more!

I used to collect coins but dh has taken over big time. When the Olympic coins were released he started going to the bank and getting £1000 sealed bag of 50ps from the bank. Walk home with them in his backpack, sort through them then trudge back in the afternoon or the next morning. Funny sstory there, will tell it later lol

Savvybuyer wrote: »I know:(. Sorry this was my downer but ... I didn't think these were going to work - I've sort of got used to a hunch of mbuys coming back on. The reason I had this hunch is also that my 'hunch' is that msm/APG update at lunchtime and again at around 8pm-8.30pm (which is why I never like the fact I'm home after 5pm - meaning three hours always expire after anything, if it even were on in the first place, has finished:(:(:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::rotfl: - but yes that is a main bugbear - I lose so much by not being able to shop during the day). If an mbuy is still off at nine pm, I'd go shopping then than go before and inevitably have my APG waiting period cross the 8/8.30pm divide during which the mbuy is likely to come back on. Even if shopping post-9pm (maybe there's an APG watershed?:rotfl::rotfl:) crosses into a new day - though that's less risky I more recently feel.
Right folks - got to leave you and love you:A, see you laters!:):):wave:Mumto2monkeys wrote: »Shortfatscotsbloke wrote: »Second shop with different shampoo..

I wonder why it didn't work yesterday?
I don't know as much as a few of the regulars (who will hopefully correct me and my inane drivel..) but is it possible the hunch holds water?
How about the theory that there are updates most days at say 1pm and 8pm, they all stick till the next update and anything else you see is just msm having a play with us?
I wasn't watching msm yesterday (daddy & son day out), but how about this..
At 1pm the Fairy wul was £1.75, 2 for £2. During the afternoon msm had a play with the multis and we then saw £1.75 each with no offer. Anything bought during the afternoon showed on the apg as 2 for £2 because that was the 1pm sticking price.
At 8pm yesterday the new sticking price of £1.75, no offer kicked in. Nobody bought any Fairy WUL after 8pm because at 7:10pm it showed the 1pm sticking price of 2 for £2 and we all stayed at home.
I went out this morning and bought some Fairy before today's 1pm sticking price time and it showed at last night's sticking price of £1.75 each, no offer.
By my reckoning, Fairy will now show at 2 for £2 on the apg as that is what today's 1pm sticking price was (regardless of what it shows now).
My times might be a bit out and they may indeed vary from day to day, but what do you think, is it an option?
Sorry for the 'war and peace', I'm afraid the 'savvy in me' got carried away..:)0 -
