No Freeview downstairs, never thought about DVD, stupid me lol, will have to wait until dh comes in as I can't kneel down to see which buttons to press on dvd :(
Dish faces the garage and in the 20 odd years we have been on Sky we've never had this problem before. Thought it maybe due to the weather, but today has been sunny and dry.
Had new dish a ffew years back. This fault started last November, you can go days and everything is fine. At the moment picture has been perfect since dond, very strange.
Thanks for the help though, will def try the dvd

It could be the weather, not unusual! It could also be a case of the dish having been nudged out of true slightly, there is a very small window in the direction in which it can be pointed. If it is pixellating there is a good chance it is the signal rather than the TV, but it would be handy if you could try another TV on the Sky connection when you know it is interfering, that way you eliminate the TV possibility and it has to be down to Sky.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

Where does the APG voucher appear please - I have only ever used the instore APG.

    Many thanks

    Anon

go to the price guarantee page and click online, then it will appear (says wait 48 hours but usually less)...then if you have an apg it will appear on your account on the following Tuesday in the afternoon (usually). Like most things it doesn't always run to plan but that's about the gist of it....the money is called bronze evouchers (drop down box on your account)and you can add as them to your online order as credits.

Unfortunately we won't know until the results come in as it is not clear at what point the APG updates (and it has been known to update more than once in a day as I found out with the Pringles!).

    Fingers crossed!

As soon as my results are in I will post, I bought 10... Haha. X
We're just happy to have a home, a family and our health. Whatever else is just added and it fits. :)

Anyone that's registered with Foxy Bingo they are giving away little prizes each day for the next 2 weeks, I got £1 on Monday, £1 yesterday and £1.50 today. You can spend them on what you want, I won nothing yesterday but did the slots today and just won £20 :j:j:j

Minimum withdrawal is £30 but you can deposit and take it straight back out if you win less.

    Hi nutters :-)

sorry not been on...and no car either so feeling a little sorry for myself

BUT popped on to see if any of you who have facebook could have a look at a guy called Colm Farrell AKA Haz who is currently (and has been for months and months) walking through EVERY county in England to raise awareness of suicide and suicide prevention....a subject that NEEDS to be out in the open.

Please please have a look and see if he is in your area - you could offer him a bed for a night - really needs it in this awful weather!!!!

Lovely man - passionate about suicide prevention - PLEASE help him if you can - he is visiting EVERY county hoping to raise awareness/usually has papers interviewing him etc

Tomorrow he is heading for Tattershall Thorpe......do you know anyone in that area to offer him a plac e to rest for a night and maybe some MSE food to keep him going ?!

    https://www.facebook.com/colmpfarrell

    thats his facebook page

    Hi CS,

I'm not good with facebook and couldn't find a map of his journey but I too am passionate about this cause and would gladly offer him a bed and food for the night.
Do you know if he is coming to Durham?

There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.
