    On a seriousish ;)note went to Chester Zoo and what a disappointment :eek:
    A lioness walking backwards and forwards over a 5m track, 1 penguin no word of a lie walked past it 3 times only 1 penguin :eek:chimps looking totally sorry for themselves :eek:
    I used to always sing the praises of this place but it has gone down hill in my estimation. We were there 2 hours max and left as DW was not happy oh forgot orangutans only a few now most viewing windows are into empty cages

    Ok seriously, that's how it should be really don't you think?

    Animals in cages should be a thing of the past. Back in my/our youth I guess it was a good way of protecting some animals but there are much better funded places with more natural habitat now for us to see them now the world is a much bigger place.
