very sad news to post this morning my dd1 and her partner had a baby girl, she survived barely an hour,
they found out on friday that the baby had Edwards syndrome and could not decide what to do next but the decision was taken out of their hands when she went into labour. Its hard to find the right words to say to them i think alls we can do is be there for them.
So sorry to hear that rhosynbach it must be awful for them.0 -
Cancel - they are offering 50% off or up to 75% off according to the retention thread on the other board ...
Nothing to lose, but you will probably have to cancel to get the best deal then wait for the call from their retentions team.

If you do get a car and want to eat at a good, fairly reasonable restaurant, try the last (when facing the sea) one, on the left hand side in the little fishing village of Los Abrigos (by the tiny harbour). It's only a few miles up from PdlA and LC - next to Golf del Sur. Have a table outside and watch the sunset, sipping a cold glass of your tipple. Decent paella served as well.0 -

No bus tales today other than someone having a severe dose of BO
I have decided that I have had enough of "office speak" spilling across into normal life. A 70 year old gent rang me this afternoon an it went something like this-
"I was put through to yourself because I'd like an appointment to discuss the consequences of such and such to myself"
Why not just say " I was put through to you because I'd like to talk about the risks of such and such"
It doesn't sound polite. It sounds patronising and quite frankly you sound like an [STRIKE]insert swear word[/STRIKE] idiot!!
