When my oh left Royal Mail 6 years ago his office did not even get him a card let alone a present. Still when he moved offices 8 years previously his customers threw him a lovely party. He was badly bullied in his last office and was glad to leave.

As an aside(!) - regarding just one piece of that article: "You probably believe that your eyes register high-fidelity information about the absolute size, speed and distance of visible objects and that you respond based on these impartial data." Not true in my case: I don't believe my eyes register that at all as I know, as a person on the autism spectrum, that some research (zzz....:rotfl:) seemed to show that people with autism may perceive motion twice as fast as those without.
