Good morning all.
I hope you all enjoyed your KFC. I am on a healthy eating plan so did not tell DH, he just loves fast food.
Missed the Valentines stuff in tosco too. Working silly hours
FC and Zippy Know your safe and hope your roof problems are fixed soon.
We have not had the bad weather like those down south but the rain yesterday was quite scarey and drivers still jumping from lane to lane to save a few seconds when there was virtually no visibility.
Hugs to you all, enjoy your day and thanks for the random night shift banter.0 -

Good morning to the elite....
After a quick inspection at home this morning,I had hoped we got away with no additional damage from the wind last night...and all appeared ok..no damage and the blue tarpaulin on the consevatory roof still in place I was feeling pretty positive
then OH who is working away this weekend phoned to say that he's just finished a night shift and returned to the hotel to find that part of the hotels large sign that last night was above the front door has come down overnight and embedded itself over 4 cars in the car park....yep ours included...windscreen is smashed and roof and bonnet dented.
It looks like hes going to need a hire car to get home on Monday morning.
Thats potentially 2 insurance claims in as many weeks...one on the house and one on the car...both weather related.
