BUT, would the person receiving actually count them? And if challenged, could one not pretend it was supposed to be 12 but they were swizzed out of one in the shop?

Not that I buy flowers as it sets off the DW hayfever.

The best I heard was one year when Comic Relief was on and a friend bought his OH a dozen Red Noses. Quite funny and for charity too.
