Good morning all, and thanks for a lovely shiny new thread StinkyPlease could we have a glitch on nice, big, new freezers, before all the Dr O prize pizzas and the free ones in March arrive!:D:D
I could do with that too. My current one is terrifying me, it is nearly 20 years old :eek:I am meant to be asleep.
Just been reading David.'s post and have to say I agree, and with FC too, I have been concerned for a while about what newbies think we are about and what it is ok to do because it seems everyone else is doing it.
Want to say thanks to those that supported my opinion yesterday it was something I just couldn't let go.
At times the Elite has evolved into something I don't recognise and I hope that a few people can remember our roots, there always seems to be more glitches etc, if you aren't lucky just move on to the next one. Sometimes we are lucky and like buses 2 or 3 come at the same time. :T
Take care Elite. xx
I totally agree, this thread is about nice people, glitches are secondardI circumvent the ones that are more than a little dubious.

Morning QOC
Sorry but this made me:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: the things you have to put up with on the bus
You wouldnt be :rotfl: if you'd had it at the back of your nose
I had to breathe through a glove
I got into work and the kitchen door is locked, and no one has a key except the cleaners, who have wandered off home
QoC is clever. She keeps her tea bags in her office. She keeps her mug in her office. She went and bought a pint of milk and used a different kettle to make her cuppa. There are others who are having proper paddies cos they cant get their cuppas. If I was nice, or rather, if they had been nicer to me in the past year, I would offer them all tea :rotfl:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. My OH has just spent several minutes in the freezer cursing, pulling drawers out and dropping them. He was trying to find the sausages he put in a specific place last week (his breakfast sausages). I then volunteered to find them and they were in exactly the same place as last week, I do not move them!!! He apparently thought they were fish fingers :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Seriously, are men genetically programmed to be unable to find anything :eek:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Thanks for the new thread.
Feel like I've excelled myself.
As a precaution against many burnt pots and pans. I've taken to micro waving baked spuds on an alleged microwave safe plate.
So, having opened the kitchen doors to let out the smoke, the spud is crispy, and the plate has a large hole in it !purpledonkey wrote: »
 What are you 2 doing???
1. Wash potato, dont dry, then !!!!! a few times with a fork.
2. Wrap it in a sheet or 2 of kitchen roll
3. Microwave for 4-5 min
4. If you want a crispy skin, have the oven on full power while you are preparing/cooking potato, then when it is finished, pop it into the hot oven for about 10 mins.
5. Eat.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”
