Black horse loan to credit card?

Hello I have about a £3000 loan for a motorbike through black horse finance that I pay monthly, I want to sell the bike now and need to pay off the loan first there are no cancelation fees for paying off early.

I was thinking of paying it off with a Barclays 0% balance transfers for X amount of months credit card. My question is would it be that easy or would that loan not fall into a balance transfer category?

You can't BT a loan. So a payment, even if they accept it, would be put through as a purchase or a cash advance.

You'd need a money transfer card, eg an MBNA card.

Ok will have a look into MBNA now, could I take a credit card out that has 0% on purchases then get a Barclays one and balance transfer it?

Only if you can pay off the loan with a credit card, which is probably unlikely.

But if you can, you don't need 0% on purchases if you intend to BT it.

Ok I will give them a ring and see what they say been looking into MBNA and that looks like it will be my best option so will gone them a ring as well
