There are loads of people who make mistakes about credit decisions. There are few people who genuinely take credit with the the knowledge that they have no means of repaying it.

Some struggle for years on a hamster wheel, making minimum or no payments but never really getting anywhere. Others like those of us who have faced up to our position take charge of it for the sake of ourselves and our families and if that means BR then so be it.

Don't beat yourself up about it. Not all employers will take the attitude that you are a write off because you are BR. Keep plugging away at the job market, you will get there in the end and with your mental health intact.
