But i think there is nothing so empty and cold as a breakfast table without a simple valentines card.
It costs very little but is worth so much.
a simple expression of caring and appreciation..nothing fancy or expensive.
I think there is nothing so shallow as a show of love when told to do so by others.Pants0 -
Me spinster? No! Young, free and single that's me!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0

I'm married so no spinster here. We just don't need one day a year to show we love eachother.

My thoughts exactly! I'm single now but even if I was with a partner, I would prefer us both to show love and affection every day and not just on this one day!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
I was joking with the spinster comment...
I just liked the swarthy cat picture...
After we got married, I think V's Day became less of a 'thing' for us. We still go out for dinner, etc, but it's not the big cataclysmic event with a month of planning that it was for our first one together.0 -
I've never done V day when i was young and dating or when i was married , definately won't do it now divorced.
I try and avoid any 'celebration' day as much as possible.0 -
