Won a Holiday - cant go Gutted!

I have had an email to say that I have won a holiday to Bluestone, in Wales staying in a lodge for a week.
Unfortunately there is no choice of week and my cover at work is on holiday when it is, so have had to email them and say that I cant attend and to redraw the prize.
Gutted is an understatement.:mad:

Oh no!
Did it state in the terms and conditions that the holiday can only be taken on a specific date? I hate that and tend to avoid them.

I didn't notice in the terms that it was a specific date as I only enter things that I need or can go on.

I cant seem to find where I entered.
I don't think it was the one with fifty to win as I haven't ticked it and I always try and do that.
Anyway if it was that one I would have been able to go at the time of entering as work colleague has only just booked that week off. :mad:

I think the Bluestone ones are generally like that - they offer stays as prizes when they've got space and usually at short notice.
I had the same thing with Bluestone last year - I'd entered not realising that the stay was for a fixed date, which I couldn't make. I just hadn't spotted it in the Ts and Cs
Never mind, hopefully there's another better win for you around the corner
