Won £100 on That's Life Summer Special

Hi,
I just opened a letter at my Mum's house saying that I have won £100 in the Linkword competition in issue 2 of the That's Life Summer Special.
However the letter has been there a LONG time as no-one told me I had mail and the date of the cheque was issued on 13/9/2013 with the letter saying the cheque would expire in three months. :eek:
Is there anything I can do so that I can still cash in the cheque, it would be gutting to win then lose!! Thanks
