Apprenticeship and 2nd job.

My 16 year old son is due to start an apprenticeship earning approx £100 per week .he also has a Sunday job which he would like to keep on,earning approx £20 per week.i know he is under the tax threshold but will the Sunday job be taxed as a second job and if so how can he stop it.many thanks.

If the wages from both jobs combined are under the tax threshold then he won't pay any in either job.

Have a look at THIS, as he will still be under his personal allowance it seems he can split his code between the 2 employers.0

His apprenticeship is 30 hrs per week and Sunday job is 4 hrs per week so he is under his young persons working hours.0
