Trains From Surbiton To Waterloo During Rush Hour

Options
How easy is it to get from Surbiton to Waterloo, if attempting to board a train at Surbiton from 07:30-08:00 on a week day?

I understand that different people view things differently, so:

- can a passenger get a seat?
- can a passenger get stand?
- can a passenger get on a train?
- if a passenger has to stand, will they have enough personal space to hold and read a book?

There are 5 trains, the fastest taking 18mins and the slowest 32mins.

Been a couple of years since I did this route but I think your main problem will be actually getting on the train. I would have to repeatedly let trains go as there was no way what so ever I could get on. Even slow trains were a nightmare. Reading no way maybe after Clapham Junction?

To guarantee a train but not a seat your looking at getting on no later than 06:30. Its probably the main reason I no longer live in Surbiton.
