Our solicitor is also our sellers solicitors, will this speed things along? Their estate agent recommended them. They are ok so far!

I thought that was only permitted if both clients had an existing client relationship with the firm prior to this transaction. If not it had to be different offices of the firm?It can be the same firm.

My local solicitor did not allow this, we discovered for our purchase that both parties had approached the same firm different partners, they made me aware but wouldn't deal with both parties. I had to get a new solicitor with a new firm to proceed.Boots Card - £17.53, Nectar Points - £15.06 - *Saving for Chrimbo*2015 Savings Fund - £2575.000

Have you dealt with this firm before?Just checked yes different ladies dealing with it. Same firm though.
If not, you may find you get "bumped" if the other side has used them for a previous transaction.I am a mortgage broker.
