First time buyer confusion - are Connells ripping me off?

Thanks for the post.
Since I started the thread I have had a better mortgage offered by Connells and that no longer concerns me because no Whole of Market broker that I spoke to on the phone today could better it.
My only remaining concern is the £548 that I am paying, and whether that is worth it for them arranging everything and covering me in the event of the sale falling through (small print is that it only covers me for 90 days).
I understand that another broker could arrange everything for free, but I am already quite involved with Connells and the guy there can get things moving for me now.
Thanks for all your help so far guys!0 -
