Hi everyone! So I've got a bit of spare time on my hands, and thought I may as well spend some of it NOT spending money, and instead joining you competition guys n gals!
I have a few questions, if anyone would be kind enough to help out a noobie:
1.) How long did it take / how many competitions did you enter before you started to win things?
2.) Which type of comps do you have the most success with?
3.) What is your best win, and how long have you been comping for?
4.) By what method do the companies usually contact you, to let you know you've won?
5.) If you always provide your phone number, have you found that you're getting 'cold-called' for other non-competition things?

Hello and welcome!
I have been comping for a couple of years now, I won my first comp within a month of doing it. I haven't actually won that much, I'd say less than 20 things. Biggest would be a signed football shirt and a D&G handbag.
I haven't won anything in ages though. Its been since xmas time (apart from a cushelle koala).
It comes in waves. Sometimes you'll do really well and other times you'll get nothing for ages... So be prepared for that.
Also, you have to stick at it to win. I have a couple of friends and family members who have started, not won anything for a few weeks of doing it and gave up. But its a hobby, you'll either like it...or not.
Good luck!! xThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
