Solar Funding Incentive schemes

Hi,
I've recently been doing some research into solar PV and have stumbled across some companies that appear to offer a scheme whereb you pay a monthly amount for the panels over a period of 5 years, after which the panels are yours.
During the 5 years so still benefit from the energy produced and the FIT repayments.
I have spoken to one company who seems to be able to offer this in my area, this companies website is http://solarfundingincentive.org.uk,
I would be very grateful if anyone could share their experiences of this scheme as quite frankly, it seems a little too good to be true.
Thanks
Lee

If you have a mortgage then perhaps borrow that way?
Personally I got a 0% loan from the EST as part payment.
As for this scheme I'd steer well clear and buy some LEDs instead to save cash...0 -
Hi,
Thanks for your feedback. I had not heard about the possibility of obtaining a 0% loan. Could you share with me how I would be able to find out more about this ?
Could I ask why you would steer well clear of the scheme I described, is it a scam or do you have experience of it ?
Thanks

I think the figures are over egged on that website to cover their high fees.
If you can borrow at a competitive rate and the FITs returns stack up for you then surely that is better having the pick of the best installers etc...
I used the Home Renewables Loan Scheme from the Energy Saving Trust.0
