Happy Language is a new institution teaching Spanish and Italian.


They just celebrated their 1st B'day in Jan 14

The main thing they introduced that I haven't seen anywhere else is if you get a Happy Language year Membership £22 you get monthly invites with ample free food and one drink :beer: :j

NOTE They are based in Holborn London and the venues currently will be around London, the next event will be on 17/02/14 in Holborn.

The best thing about this is you don't need to be a student at HL and still get the membership. The HL organise the meetings at different Italian or Spanish restaurants.


The other good thing about this is there are attendees from the region i.e. Italian from Italy and Spanish from Spain who as you guessed can speak in their language so if you are learning either language you can practice with them.




Ah another thing if you go to any of the restaurants or book shop listed on their websites and show them your membership card you get the discount mentioned.


The HL motto is Happy Language Happy Family hence the thought behind the membership.

I really hope they extend this, I would love to learn Italin but live in the Midlands. Thanks for posting op, this will be great for others on here I am sure.

Thanks Lynnie27, They are just a year old, and they have made their mark in London. Let's see they might celebrate their 2nd or 3rd Birthday in Manchester next Jan.


I studied in Nov/Dec loved it. I have been to two of the events these are a success you can see their FB as well

I should also mention that if you want to turn up as a invitee by a friend they charge £13 so one of or when ever you are in London you can join in.


The event is also their Promotion for the school so they do run videos at intercept. But the event lasts some 4-6hrs so it is not just a 1hr or so promotion you do get to talk to locals in their lingo and may be make some great friends.

Sounds good, I was thinking of doing something to improve my Spanish. But where does it talk about getting a one year membership? Couldn't see it.
