Renting car out for special occasions?

Hi Everyone,
My partner and I have an old Mini (1964) - it needs a little bit of work doing to it at the moment, but we're interested in looking at renting it out for special occasions, weddings etc. Not as a full time business, just for a little extra if it's possible.
I've been trying to research how we would even go about doing this, but I can't find any info on where to start - maybe I'm googling the wrong thing so forgive my ignorance if I am!
But I would presume you would need different car insurance, public liability etc - but can anyone point us in the right direction of where to even start looking at if this is going to be a possibility?
Thanks in advance!

I wouldn't have thought a Mini was a suitable wedding car! Sadly the TV programmes which could have made use of the car (Heartbeat, The Royal) have ended. If you Google "rent out your classic car" you should find plenty of useful sites. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

You say that, but it seems to be a reasonably popular choice - I think any cars are nowadays, anything to be different! Thanks I'll take a look

BBC Inspector George Gently (on tv this week) is set in late 1960's and uses cars of that timelincroft1710 wrote: »Sadly the TV programmes which could have made use of the car (Heartbeat, The Royal) have ended.0
