    Agreed, don't wait for them to ring you, it won't happen. Once the child reaches 16 the maintenance may reduce anyway as the PWC is no longer entitled to the carers element of the calculation. We rang them twice when the child on our case turned 16, in plenty of time beforehand and on the birthday and they still updated their records late and we paid for extra weeks, and then it took the accounts dept ages to catch up with the calculation so we continued paying the full amount for months afterwards - even though the overpayments would action a reduction on subsequent months until the correct amount is being paid. However they won't back date the calculation to the child's birthday, the new calculation is only from the day they action it. So make sure you ring them asap.
