Tesco putting up prices of some goods by over 50%

As someone who is allergic to caffeine. I found tesco caffeine free diet cola at only 57p a great find. However I have gone into my local store today to find they have added the word classic to the label and its gone up to 89p surely the word classic and a lable change isnt worth 32p or 50% more.

Have you tried the new one as it tastes odd and nowhere nearly as good as the old one? Apparently Sainsburys and Asda are meant to do an own brand version as well. I've never seen the Sainburys one and our nearest Asda doesn't stock their own brand version.

There are a lot of label changes with big price difference I find.

They have discontinued their standard and changed to classic which tastes a lot like ginger beer and cola. I had a replymfrom Tesco who say production costs have changed and that is why its gone up by 50%.
