Trying to get a friend / family member to go halves with an order but what I would like to know is
(A) can you shop instore without being a member and do you still have to buy 2 x quantity as it states on the web site
(B) IS this a reliable product as far as stain removal (hubby gets oil and grease on work clothes) as I have always use bio because I have yet to find a non bio that performs as well

You can't shop in Costco unless you're a member. A friend who is a member can take you in and buy for you but they won't allow you personally to make the purchase.

The Costco Kirkland range is generally very good quality, from meat to clothing to cleaning products. I've used the washing powder and it's fine although I've not had to wash heavily soiled work clothes.
  • Has any one that has used this powder evey had problems with allergic reactions or wirh clumping in the dispenser drawer.

I found the opposite. I never once had any clumping in the drawer - unlike as I do when I use Ariel or Persil. The difference was noticable.

I didn't have any reactions to it either (I have very sensitive skin) but I didn't buy another pot of it as I wasn't as keen on the smell. The bucket of it lasts for ages though (we're a family of 5).

Thankyou for such a quick reply was the smell offensive or just not to your own personal taste and was this with or without the use of a seperate softner .

I always use a separate softener.

I think it was just down to personal preference. The tub lastest months, and by the end of it, I was just a bit fed up of it!
