To check you are still working and to claim their fee!

  • You are on the books of the Work Programme providers for 2 years. So if you found employment after 6 months then they will check up on you for the remaining 18 months. The majority of their payments are based on you staying in a job (payments by results).

You may turn this to your benefit as they are tasked with keeping you in work so any training/help you need, you could speak to them about this in case it stops you being employed.
  • You can tell them to stop calling as you do not need advice. As they got you the job this is one of the rare occasions when they should receive the fee, but after that cut all communication. As SaintJammySwine correctly points out, this can be used to your advantage.
