  • Are you sure this remain on your credit file... i had to borrow (payday) for a week as car broke and thou i had 700 quid needed 200 more to pay for car repair after headgasket went... so only had to pay 207 back.. no recored on any files off this is on.. and still got a small loan of bank in nov quite easy straight forward yes from my bank when i applied
  • Don't blame you for looking for loopholes but even in the absence of a CCA, the payment history (first them and then you) would go against you. Accepting that you are going to have to pay something, have a scout around for ways to reduce the cost. With a fair credit report, there should be loans and cards out there for you with much cheaper rates - your own bank is the best place to start.

Although mostly broken English I'll reply.

You got off lucky (did you check all 3 CRAs?)

Nowadays they report to the CRAs and that will scupper any prime lending (up to and including prime loans, CCs and mortgages).

My parents are living off nothing, and I'm essentially trying to make sure they get by.

Have you checked if they are entitled to any benefits? Even if they only get a few pounds a month of Pension Credit it will mean they don't have to pay council tax and get housing benefit to help with the rent.

    Good calculator:
