I've had exactly the same problem yesterday & today. I get a 'page cannot be displayed' when logging in. This is happening both at work and on my home PC. It was all working fine last week from both work & home.
I emailed them last night but just got the standard reply about checking IE settings. It can't be IE. I'm going to phone them this afternoon & will let you know.

Official reply from Egg:
There is a known problem with Web access and Egg Money Manager that is giving the 'page unable to be displayed' error. Their IT department are working on it.
Looks like from reading these posts that they've been having rather a lot of problems recently.0 -
see this thread http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=5692715&posted=1#post5692715 on same topic for some URLs you can use to view some of your account details. Including this one https://new.egg.com/customer/1,,3_0--View_1747,00.html?section=SecureMessaging&state=Display&subState=Inbox&lastSubState=Read&Outbox_Page=&Inbox_Page=&writeData_QueryType=&writeData_Subject=&writeData_EmailFlag=&writeData_Address=&writeData_ConfirmAddress=&writeData_Body=&x=1&net=true to get into your Egg secure messages to send them details about your problem. Just paste the URL into your browser after you get the post login error message.0

I have just phoned them again. Phoned last Thursday with a promise of it being back 'in a few days'. Today I got the same procedure. After being taken through the usual stuff like remove temp internet files etc & being taken through the full login & having my security reset I still get 'page cannot be displayed'. They are rebooting the servers again tonight I have been informed so the advice was to try tomorrow!
I use money manager. I can't afford the time to try all the workarounds posted on here but I will be looking at a new money manager provider.
Why haven't these problems found their way to the financial pages of the press yet? Or has it and I've not seen it? It should be made public. The service has been excellent during my 5 years with them but this has a lot to answer for.
Why it happens to some accounts and not others is explained if they use Citrix servers or something similar. If you are lucky enough to have your account on a server they have successfully upgraded then you won't have a problem. I know, I work in IT as a Systems Support Manager and we run Citrix servers. Heads would be rolling if this happened to our manufacturing plants. Beats me how Egg can get away with this.0
