Turns out GetMeATicket isn't a scam site afterall!

I used to enter my offers years ago, I did literally hundreds and won nothing, so was beginning to think they were a scam when my boyfriend's cousin won what at the time was a very expensive hifi. I assume they just get lots and lots of entries.

Like mjm says, I never thought the prizes were fake, but they sell your data and it's just not worth all the spam.

just noticed that Natalie simmons was the winner of 200 tesco vouchers and Jamie oliver kitchen supplies. Seems dodgy to me.

Who's Natalie Simmons, or do you mean she won two prizes?

I think GetMeATicket is viewed by most of us as a spam-generator rather than a scam site. So it's interesting if you've found evidence otherwise...?

All the low amounts £20 and below dont repeat, but it seems the big competitions do, its either a complete scam or these competitions are shared across multiple prizes, ie 2 competitions are actually 1 prize draw, I'm taking it out of my bookmarks now

Fairly standard for those type of sites, it's not a "scam" as the details are shown in the T&Cs but it creates an impression of far more prizes being on offer than there actually are - the one below will be shown as 6 competitions but there is only one prize to be won.

The prize will consist of either of the following, which the winner can choose from:

- £15,000 Cash
- £15,000 Shopping Spree
- £15,000 for your Home
- Audi A3
- Fiat 500
- Mini Cooper

I had two emails a day after each other many months ago which had the same winners names on for different prizes. I questioned it but never heard anything back.
