Change Jar Challenge

  • I know it's a bit late, but I'm joining the jam jar challenge - although my jar is a Branston pickle jar and still smells quite strongly of pickle ( and yes, I have washed it out :D ).

I've emptied out my purse and now have 92p. I'll continue through Christmas and use the money for a new pair of glasses (I hope you don't mind me joining late - it's just that it's such a good challenge, and I've only just discovered the site, and I had all these jars saved up to make marmalade so it just seemed the right time to do it)

Welcome Miss Marple - never too late to start! I only haven't joined because I can't be bothered to open my piggy and empty it's silvers, which I have been saving since June... still, I root for everyone else! I am part of the £2 coin club though - joint that one too if you can! x

I am totally behind, I have been unwell this week so I forgot to update my signature on Wed so will do it this coming Wed instead. I don't expect it to be much as I haven't had any money to spend (which is obviously just as good).

  • what a fantastic challenge! I only joined MSE in august and started my change jar in september so obviously I am too late for this challenge. However, just wanna say to whoever organised this, I really hope you do a similar thing for the new year as its such a brilliant idea
