I think you just add your tally to your sig and Janxx will update the list in the first post.

I'm not doing so well on this one because I try not to spend money!! :D

    Good luck!!!

I already save 20ps and various loose change, but I like a challenge and I think this will motivate me to save more. I'm going to bank what I have at the moment and start my balance from zero. Here goes......

I am not doing too well either but like rosieben trying really hard not to spend money do my food shop online and the rest is pretty much accounted for which is why I seem to be struggling another 35p to add to my total this week

    Hey guys,

A bit late I suppose but why not. I cleared my jar out last week and it had £100 in it. Took about 4 months to fill. I'll be starting again though no running totals as I like to have a surprise at the end of it. My £ jar should be full around December too, last time it had £600 and expect the same again. It takes me just over a year to fill though.

I will post back with totals. Good luck everyone.

This is a great idea. We have a column in our budget for pressies, but it gets swallowed up with all the other categories when banked. While it is actually safely earning interest, the big problem is that it tends to be more of a guideline than budgeted amount and spending always goes over. This way, the piggy bank amount may help with the difference. Count me in belatedly, no totals till Dec 1.
