I am owed £4,500 that I loaned to an acquaintance over 6 years. I make a claim through court but was not successful. How can I pursue this to get my money back? The loan was a personal loan, not business to business.

Small claims court would have been your best, and probably only, option. Why were you not successful?0

I am thinking, now some years have passed that he may be in a position to pay me back.0

I would suspect small claims again - but if he did not have the money to pay you back then he is possibly in the same position.
Do you have any documentation or evidence of the loan that you have provided?0 -
Did you win your case but wasn't able to get anything out of them?0

Or did you lose the case?0
