    Morning all.... :)

I note from the spampost, the less-major credit card companies are pretty much right up to the pre-2008 levels of pressuring eligible folk to take out yet more & more credit.

I also note from the amount of feel-good advertising going on [the major source of credit pressure] that we are also creeping back to the pre-crash levels......of taking on more than eventually we will be able to sustain, credit-wise?

I had hoped fervently that people had learnt a lesson from the debt crisis.....but if the levels of advertising are anything to go by, they have not.

Now..personally I'm quite comfortable with a credit crisis...or a banking crash....or even, a return to the environment of the past few years....as , I suspect, are many of the contributors on here?

But as a country, are we not rushing out into the bright sunlight shouting 'yippee'....disregarding how brief that sunlight may prove to be?

Or, is the degree of pressure being placed upon us a symptom that we really have opened our eyes, and the poor old financial industry is struggling to compel us to do otherwise?
No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......

Welcome to the Bankruptcy (BR) Board.

Hello and Welcome, Many of the posters on here have been through bankruptcy. They will be able to help, advise and also offer you support. We do have posters who have/do work for the OR and Debt charities too.

Written by Fermi our board guide:-

"Many people find that debt and bankruptcy is the cause or result of a period of great distress and anxiety in their lives. For some this can reach a stage where it is difficult to cope. So I would remind you that The Samaritans are available to help you through your troubles if the emotional side threatens to become overwhelming."
