How long in employment?

Good evening,
I have a very good credit score and am looking to borrow around £10,000 over a period of five years. I have just started a new job earning over £13,000 per annum; plus I am also set to receive tax credits.
However, prior to starting this new job, I was unemployed for 2 years after resigning from a post back in early 2012.
I would like to take out the loan as soon as possible, but was wondering how long it would be advised to be in my new job before applying.
Many thanks,
Maximus.

Very unlikely a lender will loan someone with a 13k income 10k.
Ignore your silly score it's worthless what's your history of managing lines of credit like ie credit cards etc?"You know when it's cold outside when you go outside and it's cold"0 -
It's highly unlikely you would be accepted for any loan with less than 6mths continuous emplyment. Also, would your new employer be ready to agree to be a referee for the emplyment check that would be submitted when you have served less than 6mths and may still be on a probationary period?
I'd leave it for the time being until you've been emplyed longer.0 -
On a salary of £13k, there is no way that you can afford to take out a £10k loan AND pay it back.
No loan company will loan you that amount on your salary. The accepted maximum is 50% of salary and on such a low salary as yours, even that would be a struggle."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0
