Can a mortgage and/or marriage have fiscal advantages in UK?

Hello there everyone.
I wanted to find out if by getting a mortgage in the UK your income tax liability is reduced or if there are some kind of fiscal advantages to it.
I know in Spain it has some advantages as you end up paying less taxes when you have a mortgage in your first habitual residence.
Is it similar in UK?
Also is there any advantages of getting married when it comes to taxation?
Any useful information would be greatly appreciated.

None. I've knowledge of Spanish living and you get none here. We do pay high child benefits though

Nothing on the mortgage as far as I know.

I've a feeling the married person's tax allowance might be brought back in some way in the not-too-distant future.

Only if your spouse doesn't work an then the transferable amount is a pittance.
