Ok, at least I wasn't asking(like many on here do) "will I get approved for a mortgage?"

    I know.

I just find it difficult to answer without a form of comparison.

I'd rather deal with a NatWest app, than one going to Santander or Woolwich.

However, I often hanker for the simplicity of a Halifax or Nationwide application, when I get a NatWest app to deal with.

You have to remember our perspective is newbuild, affordable housing, or HTB - Equity Loan in the majority of cases, so I may have a different frame of reference to some of the other brokers.

I also handle cases for the principal of the firm as well as my own and that can also skew the perception.
I am a mortgage broker. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. In our case we got a DIP after submitting all the docs, being credit checked and approved by underwriters. The only thing outstanding is valuation.
