Flowers for someone in a hospice

I would like to send some flowers to my uncle who is in a hospice with cancer. I'm worried what to write on a card. Can anyone provide me with any ideas that are not too depressing?

Thanks

Dearest Uncle Zulu, just to let you know that we are thinking of you. Best (or Fondest?) Love. Zulubabe

    ???

Perhaps a bit better would be a proper letter with the flowers and with photographs of you/the family or something? Little update of what's going on, he may have strength to enjoy knowing what's going on with the rest of the family (done without too much 'gung-ho' I suppose).
