Had text/email on Thursday from Nationwide to say that formal mortgage offer has been issued :j
Just had a check on my online account and had a look at the application where it has a section for tracking the application progress. It says (in chronological order)
EvidenceOfDepositWhereNotFromEquity received and satisfactory 30 Jan 2014
New Document Requested - COT 30 Jan 2014
Mortgage offer issued 30 Jan 2014
What's a COT? Is that something I need to worry about? It did just occur to me as I was asking this that it could mean something like Condition or Confirmation of Transfer. Is this something that the Solicitor needs to sort at a later stage when the funds are ready to send?
Was worried that they wanted even more stuff from me for a second after finally getting the offer. Anyway just thought I'd check. Thanks

The Certificate Of Title is issued to the solicitor with the mortgage offer. It is the document the solicitor completes and sends to Nationwide to request the mortgage funds in advance of completion.I am a mortgage broker.
