Laser eye surgery

It sounds like a gamble but I'll look into it further. I'm -5.75 in both eyes and have been myopic since I got chicken pox when I was 9 (nearly 25 years ago - yikes!) I'm fed up of not being able to see. Laser eye surgery has been around for yonks. Surely most problems can be dealt with. Thanks for all of the feedback.Stercus accidit0

I to have had laser surgery and suffer problems. Unless you are really poor sighted I wouldn't consider it.
I am back wearing glasses, suffer dry eyes & have to carry drops with me as it feels like grit is in them & I can't see very well in the dusk & artificial lights (supermarkets, etc).0
