Balance transfer to partner's name

Apologies if this has been asked previously but I can't find it if it has.

Does anybody know whether it's possible for my partner to apply for a 0% card and transfer the balance from a card in my name?

It is but when transferring debt think of all the possibilities, it's usually people asking if they can take over their partner's debt, once it's transferred the new "owner" is liable for the debt. We see a lot of posts about people who's ex owes them thousands on a credit card shuffle deal.
