Kaz..........you have been signed off on sick leave, you do need to rest.....but having said that, try doing 15 minutes and then have a rest, then another 15 minutes.............fly lady says that you should always leave your kitchen sink clean when you go to bed, and I straighten the cushions and just tidy the sitting room before I go to bed, so the room is tidy when you come down..........meal plans are a help.......I had 4 children and a full time job, I had to use meal plans and a strict budget..............I suffered with long spells of depression and sometimes found it very hard but routine helped....you have a very big house to cope with, I presume that you do not use all of the bedrooms, so for the time being ignore them, but do not put anything else in them, just try and keep the rooms you do use tidy. Its amazing what a damp duster will do to dust.

Years ago an old friend told me off for doing the washing and ironing on the same day.............. it will always wait another day.......but at the same time do not let it build up until its unmanageable and you feel that you cannot cope with it............

    Just take things easy..............
