Some years ago I was asked by the courts to pay a debt I had disputed. During the case I offered to pay the debt in monthly instalments and transfer the money directly into the claimants bank account via online banking but they refused to provide their details. The judge ordered as a result that I sent a cheque every month, until the debt was paid, which I did, but they have not cashed the cheques, and subsequently I still have a CCJ. I have not heard anything for years, although I no longer live at the same address. Now I have subsequently been advised they are chasing via a bailiff. What can I do, I have already done what I was asked to do by the court.

Post on the Debtfree Wanabe board as there are people with a lot of experience on there of CCJ's and bailiffs.
