Don't think I've posted in this thread before.

Had been doing SB on and off, but can find that quite a drag at times. Good when it's going well, but a pain when it dries up.

So, last month I decided to give clixsense a go. Found it quite slow-going to start with, with finding my way around. But maybe it was also partly my doing as for some reason I was a bit unsure about doing the Investment Tasks. Started doing these about a week ago and in most cases they've been fine.
I'm sure I read on here someone saying to make sure you'd done any tests needed for any specific tasks to unlock more tasks, but can't be certain? Mind you last night I did a task I hadn't done before - categorising deals and it said the pass-rate for that test was 6 out of 8 Qs. Did fine, so does that now mean I'm able to do those?
Also, the tasks that use the smartphone (pay $0.21) - Is there only ever one of those per day? I've occasionally managed to get that task (noticed there was a very low number available), but just wondered if there are more than one of them or not?
Managed to get my first twitter task day before yesterday and yesterday I seemed to be a bit luckier again as I got 4 twitter tasks.
I've read the task times at the beginning of this thread, so guess I just need to try and remember.

Finally, I'm trying to decide whether to upgrade to premium or not. I doubt I'd ever manage the levels of katykicker and vampire-girl. Well done both of you on getting your weekly bonuses. :T
So, question is, whether it's worth it for someone on doing clixsense on a lower scale to upgrade or not?
I quite like doing the tasks, though haven't done the ones that pay $0.03 or under - not sure how worth it they are - normally sounds a lot of effort for next to nothing.
Offers - I'm not so keen on, though will do surveys when I've time and am not took hacked off with them.
Clixgrid - Tedious and to date have won $0.10 twice from almost 700 clicks. I know premium accounts get double the clicks, but not sure I'd appreciate that :rotfl: unless of course I did actually win more.
Referrals - I've only got one referral, which to date has made me $0.0372, so hardly worth writing home about and not like upgrading to Premium will make a huge difference on this.

I currently have over $21 in clixsense, which I'm reluctant to send to paypal until I've decided to upgrade or not.

So, any advice, opinions? I'm guessing there must have been loads of people like me where upgrading does not seem a clear decision.

Hope some can advise and help me decide.

Well I have found it beneficial for me to upgrade. I often get a few surveys and then when you complete the Daily Bonus Tasks you get more when you are a Premium Member. I don't do loads of tasks only do the ones I like and don't stay up or night just whatever is available during the day and some times in the evening.
I have always made back much more in income what I have paid in renewing my Premium Membership every year so for me it is definitely worth doing.

In your Clixsense Account there are ads to click and tasks and offers. Clixsense doesn't send ads by e-mail.

Hello GromitFan, welcome to you

Well done for giving Clixsense a go When you are in a task you can visit your Dashboard (Top right click on your name/sign in to crowdflower, then in the dropdown menu click dashboard. This will load the Crowdflower dashboard and allow you to see any skills tests you've missed. These are worth doing, always try your best with them

If you pass or don't pass a page of quiz questions you should still get another chance next time that job is uploaded under a new job number (can be daily, hourly or weekly/monthly that some jobs change numbers).

The 21C smartphone job is 3 or 4 per night, they come out when the casino tasks come out (you can see the most recent known time on the 1st post of the 1st page on here, I've coloured the times so they stand out a little more from everything else. I try to update it when I know a big change in time has been noticed.

Twitter tasks are open for just 2 or 3 minutes per day before they fill, sometimes even less, so well done on getting some!

I would say if you have the $17 to upgrade and it is only earnings you've made on the site then go for it...! Should you get any referrals in the future you'll make more money from them, the extra CLicks on the Clixgrid, while boring, are worth it, as there are big prizes of up to $5 (Which someone here has won before). I personally just do the 20 clicks required for the checklist most of the time but others seem to do better overall per click when doing them all. If you're going to earn more than $200 or so per year it should be worth doing as you'll get $24 in bonuses instead of $6 and that then makes up for the money spent annually on premium membership. $200 a year is only just under $4 per week.

Well, decided from what's been I'm as well to sign up to the premium account. As long as things don't slow up and I stick at it, I should easily be able to make over the $200 that katykicker mentioned.
And as has been said it would be from money earned in clixsense, rather than actually putting money in.

Thanks also for the info on how to see if there are any skills tests I need to do - Will try that out next time I've got a task.
And thanks for the info on the smartphone tasks. Not that likely to be up in the middle of the night doing clixsense, so guess I've just been lucky occasionally picking one up in the morning.

Edited to say - Just signed up and as soon as I did a whole load of new PTC appeared including one at 60 sec for $0.02, 10 at 30 sec for $0.01 and 13 at 15 sec for $0.005, so guess I wouldn't have had those otherwise.
