Yesterday was a BAD appointment, looks like I've got rheumatoid arthritis, I had 14 X-rays yesterday too, plus blood tests, to see what is going on exactly, the thing is my sister started off like this a few years ago and they took so long to diagnose her she got really ill in the meantime. I can't go on methotrexate (a chemotherapy style drug I need) because my husband and I are trying to have a baby.
So basically the clock is ticking for babies, even though I am only 26 (almost), so that is a shame, but we're going through it all at the moment, infertility, my usual other illness things (auto-immune disease and a host of other problems), so at least we should get sorted, hopefully...! I live in a 3 floor property so going to need to move in the not too distant future to somewhere without stairs...!
Life hey, on the plus side I am alive
Im the expert in rheumatoid arthritis. my mum got it when i was 14 and ive spent the last ten years learning all about it and also make sure mum takes her medication properly! shes been on methotrexate for 10 years too they were thinking of changing her medication last year but due to a cyst on her liver they decided not too.
its not a nice illness, so i dont envy you specially being so young too =(I WILL GET THERE.0 -
I'm an expert on RA too, my sister is only in her 30s, she's already in an adapted house, on methotrexate too, she's also on star humira, which needs specialist funding approval from the NHS as it costs around £10,000 a year.
I won't be allowed that anyway at the moment as we want to have babies, but there are lots of conflicting problems I have, PCOS, Thyrotoxicosis, submandibular lymph node problem, hashimotos thyroiditis, and a few other newly diagnosed things. It is fair to say that I am ready for the scrapheap now...!
Just have to stay alive I guess LOL. Sorry to hear about your Mum xxThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

The thing they wanted to put my mum on required specalist funding too but she ended up going through loads of tests to see if her RA was active and if it was then they were going to find something else. But it turned out to be Osteoarthritis as well
Horrible illness. You cant go to the scrape heap you gotta stay for the future babies lol.

Eeek Katy you're so young! I hope that you can have a baby this year and everything gets sorted out.

Yeah, good old NHS prescribed me some medication in error about 6-7 years ago and it has caused me HUGE problems, I even had two strokes when it all first happened.
Tbh I don't ever really get negative about it, but I would realllly like myself and my husband to have a baby this year/next year, if it doesn't happen I will be grateful to be alive thoughAnyway, enough of my maudlin !!!!, lets task
I am doing PDF tasks and planning on having a surveys evening tonightHow rock & roll

Getting a few new tasks showing but keep getting 'task not ready for you yet' when I click on it. Refreshed but happening on both Clixsense and Neobux. Hope it gets sorted.Blogging and earning online.

Maybe wait a few minutes in between refreshes, that worked for me earlier, of course these errors happen randomly though so probably just work when it works and my advice won't be worth nothing haha :DxxThis is a system account and does not represent a real person.
