Random question to O_W, MAC (if you're here) and Rachel.. Are you all premium members?

Also, how many tasks have you completed? (Overall number not individual ones).

I'm here! And yes I am a premium member and I've now done 823 tasks lol
    I WILL GET THERE.

Yup I haven't seen any of those, apart from
What Auto-Suggest Terms Do You See? (I was counting them as one of the investment tasks)
And the rooftop one, I've got that listed.

Oh, i forgot the twitter ones too... where you tweet and get the bonus. I hadnt seen them before this week.

The ones I hadn't seen before this week, I'm now seeing on both sites- CS and SB... and I did check the tasks on SB regularly for the first month, though it was often empty. It's never empty now.

Maybe they have a basic limit for the first month on Crowdflower so they don't waste tasks on total newcomers who don't know what they're doing. And once you've been tasking a month, then you end up in a restricted group until you've proved your accuracy.
I hope i don't end up stuck with these restrictions because of that 0% accuracy. There's no skills tests available for me either, which is odd because there were when I first signed up. I didn't take them straight away because it was 4am when i noticed them and wanted to have a fresh head doing them.

It is a different rooftop task I have listed. I can't be sure but it may be the one where you say the percentage and then tick for swimming pools and solar panels too.

I had 100% accuracy for quite a while but I still didn't unlock those tasks. I've had a look back, I completed 6-7 months of casinos, 1C tasks and tasks that I know are open to even newer members, and I completed 8,800 tasks but about 4,000 of those can be discounted as they were actually bonuses awarded that used to be individually sent. I had accuracy of 100% the entire time I did those bonuses as the tasks I completed were either never marked down or if I was incorrect I was just not awarded the bonus. It was definitely 6-7 months before I saw different tasks, as I've checked, but I don't know if it is because of a set amount of tasks or length of time as my accuracy was definitely always 100% back then :)

Skills tests will come and go, I know V-G and I have failed/passed on different tasks but we still see the same tasks. from what I can tell the skills tests usually relate to very specific individual tasks rather than a large group, so don't let that worry your potential future task unlocking timeframe.

With regards to the 0% accuracy if it was going to affect you I imagine you'd see no tasks at all, as looking on the forum that does seem to happen.

I would consider raising a ticket, a polite one of course, every day until they reply back to you. Or you can e-mail Crowdflower direct from your e-mail address communitysupport@crowdflower.com but you should only use that address sparingly as they probably wouldn't want to be bombarded about 5 cent jobs etc there :) But sure for this accuracy problem it would be fine.

Same here. I just don't do those and some others that I just don't like at all. I try to pick those that I enjoy doing. :)
Love the hotel booking one but must have done the limit on that as it doesn't show on Neobux at all now and isn't on Clixsense either.
I use both Clixsense and Neobux to get as many different tasks as possible though if any tasks show up on both sites then Clixsense comes first.
At least I can get cash out at Neobux on a more regular basis now I am having to do some tasks there. Hoping eventually that more will show up in Clixsense. :)

I'm the same unless I am trying to cling on to my $50 task bonus :) Which I don't imagine I will be seeing this week :rotfl:

The hotel booking one was only up for about 10-15 minutes the other day. Also, most of the time but not always of course, when you've finished your work limit the job still appears in your task list, until it has been finished/the empty jobs opened by other people. It isn't there for me either so don't fret, it may well come back :)

Glad you've got tasks on Neobux though, lots of people find that they appear there first over Clixsense, I've just kind of got an allegiance with Clixsense I guess LOL!

Thanks for all your insight... its really, really helpful.
And OW, I'm glad to hear we're seeing similar ones. Yup, its frustrating at times, but I try to tell myself that the experienced people here were in the same boat 5 months ago, and now they're making in a day in tasks what i struggle to do in 5... so its worth hanging in there.
The older thread is really eye-opening, because it seems your ability to do more started kicking in quite quickly.

No, I've not gone premium yet. Though if it carries on averaging at around the $50 p/w for the month, I probably will go premium and put some effort in to get some referrals. So far my bonus is only $2.96 so it wouldn't mean a huge increase right now.

    Jobs: 914
    Tasks: 1,287
Accuracy: 0% though it should be mid 90s.

I think the main thing with the older thread was that I started getting into Clixsense more :) I am not sure what tasks I had available before March/April as I had a job back then and I only really did casino tasks and the like as I knew how to do those. I've actually been signed up to Clixsense since 2007 apparently, not that I ever did anything there, so it is definitely something to do with Crowdflower rather than Clixsense and hopefully within a few months you'll unlock things.

If you speak to the person who referred you they can upgrade you for $15 I believe, saving $2 or $3 whatever it is? Maybe that is an avenue to explore.

If you made $200 over a month that would be a bonus of either $10.00 or $24, that would almost pay for the premium membership right there. When I upgraded, back in June, I worked out that I would definitely cover it, just about, and since then things have been fab, I've just looked and I've made Total Earned: $154.0337 so far from that $17 I spent :) That would be around $70 or something I think? I am crap with maths :D Not only will you get 12% back instead of 5% but you'll get more chances at the Clixgrid and who doesn't like a chance to win :D

Also, contrary to the last week, I usually reply to most comments more in depth than I have been. I'm always happy to answer questions, just sometimes takes me time to remember the post and go back so nudge me if I don't reply to something and just thank it instead LOL.

Thanks for all the information its made me think alittle more about not letting my frustrations get to me lol in a previous post i said i was inpatient and i know i am ;)

Thanks for the email address katy i will use it if my accuracy hasn't changed in a few weeks.

I think your right rachel newbies are limited with tasks which is understandable from CF point of view and its just a matter of time and doing tasks sometimes even the ones we don't like ;)

rachel could you confirm these are tasks you are seeing and able to task ? or does it say you've reached your quota i have most if not all the ones in your list but they just say thats it you've done the work.

I couldn't really follow Katy explanation about tasks the fact i'm not getting an twitter investment youtube tasks is worrying if they are open to all why is it saying i've done my work unless there is a quota for each individual.

Yes, I've been able to do the tasks, but a lot of them, I only get one, (or even just the test questions), done before it tells me I've completed my work. I'm certain thats because they've run out of jobs, rather than me hitting my limit - because when i've managed to get them, there's only 5-10 left.
The ones where I've done enough to hit my actual limit are things like Categorise sentences (limit is 10) and Rooftops (20)
The identify authors/ validate articles ones must have larger limits as I've gone over 20 with those.

And yes, I get the "you have completed your work" a LOT. I think this is when someone times out on a task and its put back up for grabs, but its one I've already reached my limit on. Some of them do seem to hang around a long time.

The investment tasks are ALL showing up as 'you have completed your work" - I've checked the task assignment numbers (you find it in the address bar, at the end of the page address, like: clixsense/tasks/389485 ) and then checked my job history for that number and they are all tasks that I did 2 weeks ago on SB, so they must sometimes stagger different amounts of each task to different websites, but they also seem to repeat them on Clixsense too. I say that because when I've never clicked on a task in CS before, it shows up as dark blue... but todays CS Investment tasks are all pale, telling me I've tried to access them before today.

Oh, and Katy, yup- the rooftops one sometimes has slightly different names, but the only one i've seen so far is the %visibility/pool/solar panels.

Ha, I can't stand those categorise sentences ones. I keep getting the same ones too. I think i'm getting the hang of them though.

The only ones i think that might bump my percentage down are when there's a blatant error in the test question... like a broken link... or an actual glitch where it says i selected an answer that isn't even an option to select.
CF have written back to me agreeing with some of them and promising to reset my % but i haven't seen any change in the individual tests. And dashboard is broken.

    Interesting things I've learned today:

I can look at my balance of tasks completed/money earned per week, day month etc, and I have already completed more tasks this year than last year from April - December (When I started bothering), even with the 4,000 odd bonuses individually added last year :D Yay me!

I can waste so much time looking at the individual tasks ive done per week and stuff, it makes interesting reading! I did more tasks in february than I did July-Dec last year :rotfl:
    I WILL GET THERE.
