I have given them my number, I've had 1 unsolicited call this year so far, but that was a PPI company clearly working through numbers. Infact, considering how often I give my number out I am surprised I don't get hundreds

I personally think it is safe, I've had no problems at all.

Oh good... one unsolicited call a year is actually less than i get already, and i don't give my number out to anyone except friends/family. :-)
Its amazing how determined those PPI companies are.

I tend to just ask them to hold on a second, leave the phone on the side have a shower or wash up and that usually works

I have never had any calls from them. I have a separate sim in an old cheap mobile which I just use for things like this so I keep my personal one only for family and friends.

I'm okay KK, weird weekend glad to be back in the peace of my student flat. Planning my week now. I sadly know that before I know it it will be friday again! as the weeks just keep going quicker and quicker. Must be that I am always busy.
